The FBI on Friday released 11 pages of notes from its July 2 interview withHillary Clinton, as well as a 47-page summary of its now-closed investigationinto Clinton’s use of a private email server during her time as secretary of state.
According to the documents, Clinton said that she did not know she was required to keep records of her emails when she left office, and that she did not recall any briefing or training instructing her to do so. Clinton told the FBI that, because of a concussion and blood clot she suffered in 2012, she did not recall all briefings she received as she was transitioning out of office. “Because of her doctor’s advice, she could only work at State for a few hours a day and could not recall every briefing she received,” the document noted.
